History of SeaBuckthron

According to scientific studies , all the medicinal properties of Seabuckthron are similar to that of Chauranic Sanjivani Booti, which was used to revive Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Shri Ram. That’s why it is also called Sanjeevani Booti.
Mongolian emperor Changez Khan was the great emperor of the 13th century. He had faith in his three powers namely an arranged army, a strong distance and on SeaBuckthron. Changez Khan regularly used to give SeaBuckthron to his soldiers and their horses to increase their strength and stamina.


SeaBuckthron’s Latin name is “Hippophae rhamnoides” which translates means “Shiny horse”. The Greeks used to give SeaBuckthron to their racehorse and war horse for better health and shiny hair.
Nutritional compounds and health benefits of sea buckthorn have been mentioned for centuries in medicine books in Europe and Asia. The ancient Tibetan medical book of the 18th century “Sibu Yidian “describes SeaBuckthron’s health benefits and nutritional compounds in 30 pages.


In the 1980’sRussion Cosmonauts were Supplementing their diet with SeaBuckthron in their space program and also used it to fight radiation.
SeaBuckthron is the main part of the diet for the Chinese Olympics. And in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, SeaBuckthron was a” National Drink”.


The Defence Research & Development Organisation of India has been researching SeaBuckthron for many years. SeaBuckthron is also part of the main diet of soldiers of the Indian army who are in high altitudes.
There are now more than 210 scientific research studies on SeaBuckthron for its number of health benefits.
